Manage account billing

Managing your billing and subscription information is a straightforward process thanks to our seamless integration with Stripe. Stripe provides a secure and reliable platform for handling all your payment-related needs, ensuring your account details are kept safe while giving you complete control over your subscription.

The Billing page

The Billing page in the RepoForge.io dashboard is your go-to destination for all account and payment management tasks:

At the top of the page you'll see your current plan, the price per user, the number of user seats and when your subscription was created. Below that, the Subscription details section lets you:

• Change plan: Switch between plans to find the one that best fits your team's requirements, or change the number of user seats as your team grows or shrinks.
• Update your payment method: Add or change the card used to pay for your subscription.
• Edit customer details: Update your name, email address and billing address.
• Cancel your subscription: If you no longer require RepoForge.io, you can cancel your subscription hassle-free.

Your Invoices are listed underneath. You can view each one online, or download it as a PDF for your records.

Accounts that don't have a subscription yet will see the pricing table here instead, to choose a plan.

Using the Stripe customer portal

These actions are completed in the secure Stripe customer portal, which opens when you click one of the buttons above (or Manage subscription at the top of the page, once you're a paying customer). The portal ensures that updates are processed in real-time.

Storage

Your storage allowance depends on your plan and is multiplied by the number of user seats. You can see how much you have used on the Account Settings page of the dashboard. Click Upgrade storage there to head to the Billing page and change your plan if you need more.

Free trial for commercial use

The free tier of RepoForge.io is for open source projects only. If you want to evaluate RepoForge.io for commercial use, you can start a free trial:

• The trial lasts 14 days and includes all of the features of the Advanced plan, including private packages, the REST API, upstream mirroring, edge caching, two-factor authentication and SSO. Trial accounts have a single user seat.
• No credit card is required to start a trial.
• You can start a trial when you sign up, by choosing Private packages on the sign up form, or at any time from the Billing page if you already have an open source account. Each account can only have one trial.
• A banner in your dashboard shows how many days of the trial are left.

Upgrading during your trial

Choose a plan on the Billing page at any time during the trial. Your account moves straight onto the plan you choose and nothing about your packages changes. You can also add a payment method during the trial - you won't be charged until the trial ends.

When your trial ends

If you haven’t upgraded by the end of the 14 days, your account becomes read-only:

• You can no longer publish packages, and installing packages (including from your CI pipelines) is disabled.
• Nothing is deleted. Your packages, users, roles and settings are kept exactly as they were.
• Choose a plan on the Billing page and access is restored within a minute or so of upgrading.
